Private Jet Charter FAQ: Straight Answers

Answers to common private jet charter questions: pricing, fees, deposits, safety, empty legs, pets, and international flights. Straight answers, no fine print.

Pricing and Fees

Pricing depends on the aircraft category, route, trip length, date, and current demand. Charter pricing is dynamic, so the same trip can cost different amounts on different days. Request a quote and we’ll show you the aircraft, the operator, and the total price.

No. We don’t charge booking fees. Third-party fees such as FBO, handling, landing, and international fees are billed at cost, exactly as charged to us.

Dynamic pricing means charter rates change with market conditions: aircraft availability, demand, routing, fuel, and season. We shop the market on every trip, every day, so you’re quoted what the market is offering at that moment.

Depending on your trip, a quote may include flight time, fuel, crew costs, landing and handling fees, FBO fees, international permits and fees, and federal transportation taxes. Taxes are set by law and passed through. Your quote itemizes what applies to your trip.

We earn our compensation on each individual flight, not through membership fees, additional booking fees, or prepaid balances. You always see your total price before you confirm.

Deposits and Payment

No. We don’t sell jet cards or require large deposits to work with us. Your money stays in your bank. You pay per flight.

Payment follows the operator’s booking requirements. A deposit or credit card authorization may be required to confirm your flight, and the balance is typically due before departure based off terms. Your quote will state the terms.

Wire, ACH, credit card, Debit card

A jet card is a prepaid block of flight hours, usually at a fixed hourly rate. Some travelers value that structure. We chose a different model: no prepayment, and each flight priced on its own merits so you see what the market is offering that day.

Safety and Operators

We only arrange flights with FAA Part 135 certificated operators that carry ARGUS or Wyvern safety ratings or IS-BAO registration. We disclose the operator and aircraft on every quote.

They are independent third-party aviation safety auditors and standards. ARGUS and Wyvern rate charter operators on safety, and IS-BAO is an international standard for business aviation operations. We use them as vetting criteria so you’re not relying on an operator’s word alone.

No. A broker arranges your charter with an operator that owns or manages the aircraft and employs the crew. The operator is responsible for the flight; we are responsible for finding you the right option, pricing it honestly, and supporting you throughout.

Booking and Trips

Often as little as a few hours, though more notice usually means more options and better pricing. Peak dates (holidays, ski season, major events) fill early, so book sooner when you can.

An empty leg is a repositioning flight where the aircraft would otherwise fly without passengers. When the timing and route match yours, it can cost less than a standard charter. Ask us, and we’ll watch for options that fit your trip.

Yes. Pets can travel in the cabin on most charter flights. Policies vary by operator and destination, so tell us at the time of your quote and we’ll confirm.

Yes. We coordinate landing and overflight permits, customs, and handling for international charter. International fees are billed at cost.

Yes. We arrange charter for teams, corporate groups, and large parties, from small jets to larger aircraft, with one point of contact for the whole itinerary.
